Dr. D (as she is known to her patients) was born and raised on the East Coast. She grew up in a family of Western medicine providers, so her love of healing and curiosity of medicine comes naturally. With an uncle as a physician, a grandmother who taught nursing, and a mother and aunt who were both nurses, well, you get the picture. Yet, she decided to pursue other avenues before landing in complementary, integrative, and Chinese medicine.
She has lived in toasty Phoenix, Arizona and currently lives and plays in Saint Paul, Minnesota near the Mississippi River-one of her favorite places. She is an avid tent camper, reader, enjoys bicycling and kayaking, dabbles in brewing ale, fools around with her harmonicas and keyboard, and occasionally raises her voice while singing in a choir.
As a life coach and a health care provider, Dr. D is passionate about treating, teaching, and coaching her clients and her patients to achieve greater levels of health and wellbeing. She loves seeing the trajectory of a person’s life change for the better. She gets firsthand that it can take grit, perseverance, and resilience when one’s health seems lost, and all one can see on the horizon is illness, pain, and suffering.
Dr. D is committed to showing up to inspire and champion YOU to the greatest heights that you can achieve using the most up to date, evidence-based research.
